Where is the LTP ChatLab data server located?

The data processed within LTP ChatLab is stored within the European Union. LTP does not use data centres outside the EU, such as those located in the United States. This is a deliberate choice to comply with the GDPR and to ensure the highest possible level of protection for personal data.

LTP ChatLab uses AI technology, including large language model (LLM)-based engines, to conduct conversations and analyse behaviour in a structured way. This technology is deployed within LTP’s secure environment, with clear contractual agreements in place with any technology providers through data processing agreements.

It is important to know that:

  • personal data is processed solely for the purpose of conducting the assessment
  • data is not used to train public AI models
  • human oversight is always built into LTP ChatLab, and no automated decision-making takes place

For all applications involving the processing of personal data, LTP conducts Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and regularly reviews its security measures to help ensure ongoing compliance and data protection.

For more information about data processing, retention periods and your rights, please refer to LTP’s Privacy Statement: https://ltp.nl/en/privacy-statement/
