How does an assessment at LTP work?
An assessment at LTP always starts with an online scan, which you complete before your appointment. Depending on the programme, this may include questionnaires, ability tests or other online assessment components.
If your programme includes an on-site assessment, you will be welcomed at reception upon arrival. You can then take a seat in the reception area and enjoy a coffee or tea while you wait. Your assessment has not yet started at this point, and you are not being observed or assessed while waiting.
During the assessment, an NIP psychologist from LTP discusses the results of your online scan with you and places them in the context of the role and the purpose of the assessment. Depending on the programme, the assessment may also include practical simulations, additional interviews or other assessment components. Where possible, there is time for breaks and, for longer programmes, a lunch break may be included.
After the assessment has been completed, the psychologist’s findings and recommendations are added to the report. Once you have given your approval, the final report is shared with the client.
