What is a practical simulation?

Practical simulations (or role plays) are the most interactive part of an assessment day. During a practical simulation you are guided by an assessor, who also observes and evaluates you. You are also evaluated by your counterpart, an actor. You are assessed on analysis, empathy and impact. You are assessed not only on what you achieve, but also on the way in which you achieve it.

The most common role plays are the management dialogue, the client conversation, the strategic advisory assignment, the presentation, the fact-finding assignment and the in-tray exercise.
